Acts ends where it began: with the risen Jesus advancing His mission by His Spirit, through His people, to the nations. Paul reaches Rome by way of plots, prison, and shipwreck—and even his chains become a platform rather than a prison for the gospel. From morning until evening he opens the Scriptures to all who will come, preaching Christ as Savior and Lord, the hope of Israel. Some believe, others refuse, but rejection cannot stop the message from going on to the nations.
Luke never tells us how Paul’s story ends, because Paul is not the hero. The King who reigns is, and His Word still advances with boldness and without hindrance. The question is not whether His mission will go forward, but whether we will join it.
